Ten Years, Please

Curatorial Lab Seoul(CLS) was founded to organize a series of independent projects, inter-disciplined researches and productions initiated by curator Hyunjin Kim. Since 2012, she has produced performances with the artists such as Youngin Hong, siren eun young jung, and a choreographer Yanghee Lee. during her directorship at Arko Art Center, she curated international project "Tradition (Un)Realized" with a series of performances, screening and symposium to investigate notion of tradition in the contemporary socio-cultural scope in the region of Asia.

In 2017, CLS will co-produce the object-based performance "Ten Years, Please" together with Namsan Drama Theater. This performance goes back to the same-titled exhibition ten years ago, in which the artist entrusted her over 30 pieces of works from the past to the individual and friends who applied to take care for next ten years. “Ten Years Please” performance is drawn from long-term friendship and unique artistic exchanges between artist Jewyo Rhii and curator Hyunjin Kim. It will be directed by Jewyo Rhii, produced and dramaturgy by Hyunjin Kim and sound composed by Hankil Ryu and Yuen Chee Wai.
